The Kannada Rajyothsava Day was celebrated with great pride and enthusiasm
in Sri Siddaganga School, Chandra Layout, on 1 st November 2025, to mark the
formation of the state of Karnataka. The school campus was decorated with the
state colors, red and yellow, creating a festive and celebratory atmosphere.
The programme began with a prayer song followed by the lighting of the
ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries. Students presented patriotic songs,
traditional dances and skits showcasing Karnataka’s rich culture, literature and
heritage. The day’s events were a testament to the rich heritage and vibrant
culture of our state, filling the hearts of everyone present with pride.
The Chief Guests, Sri. Nagendra Urs and Dr. Amarendra Hollamballi, with their
inspiring speeches, emphasised the importance of preserving and promoting our
mother tongue and cultural values. The celebration concluded with a vote of
thanks, acknowledging the efforts of the students and teachers who made the
event a grand success.
